We love to show you what knitting/crochet/yarn projects we have on the go on Instagram but we realise that you don’t necessarily want to read a huge caption about whats going on in the photo, so we thought we’d lay it out for you here!  Its pretty magic to be involved with a creative business, not only do most of the team knit or crochet but we also have weavers, printers and potters on the team which means there’s always plenty of inspiration and people to bounce ideas off. Melted Baby Suri Spotlight

Mohair is a delight, mohair is luxurious and mohair is fluffy but sometimes you want a fluffy yarn that has a bit more weight to it, a yarn that isn’t in danger of making your loved ones itch around the neck and a yarn that feels like a comforting hug from your grandma. When searching for this unicorn we stubbled across the Suri Alpaca.  There are two types of alpaca, Huacaya, which is the more common of the species, and Suri which makes up about 10% of the population. They can be identified by their coats, the Suri’s coat is finer and softer than the Huacaya because they live at a lower altitude and don’t need the extra warmth, lucky...

Year of the Pig

  Happy Chinese New Year and Spring Festival! It is now the year of the Pig. Those who are born in the year of the Pig are thought to be engaged, enthusiastic and, though not frivolous, enjoy life to the fullest. However, though it is your zodiac year, it is thought of as your unluckiest year, this can be remedied by wearing something red, many opt to wear red underwear! We have been celebrating by crocheting up some cute little piggy pals for the studio and we would love for you to join in the fun so we have written up the pattern for you below!  You can use a range of different weight yarns, just change your hook size...
