Andrea Mowry

Qing Fibre created the original Pink Velvet kits around Andrea Mowry's circular-yoke pullover, which was designed with Qing Fibre Yak Single and Melted Baby Suri. Colour releases from 2020 through 2023 are grouped here as one continuing campaign rather than separate collaborations.

Andrea Mowry x Spincycle Velvet Mirror Baby Suri

Andrea Mowry and Spincycle Yarns

Qing Fibre collaborated with Andrea Mowry and Spincycle Yarns on the original Velvet Mirror Cowl yarn release. Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri shades were paired with recommended Spincycle Dyed in the Wool colours to support Andrea's cosy, colour-shifting Möbius cowl design.

Qing Fibre assembled four colour combinations for Andrea Mowry's Velvet Mirror Cowl using Melted Baby Suri with Fjord and Fjord Donegal. The yarn-only kits revisited the cosy Möbius cowl design in palettes ranging from Parakeet and Praying Mantis to Butterscotch and Dark Forest.

Qing Fibre collaborated with Florence Spurling on one of its 2023 Advent Calendars. Drawing on Welsh tapestry designs, weaving traditions and romantic manuscripts, the kit paired Merino Sock mini skeins and accessories with Florence's Gwen Mini Shawl pattern.

Qing Fibre collaborated with Phoebe of Friday Knits on the Whispered Ties Mystery Box. Built around connection, ribbons and winding paths through flowers, the themed box paired an exclusive positive-ease garment pattern in sizes XS to 5XL with Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri.

Qing Fibre collaborated with Jaime Creates on the Summer in Sorrento Mystery Box and its exclusive Sorrento Shrug. Inspired by southern Italy's blue sea, yellow lemons, sunsets and warm-toned streets, the project box paired a vivid summer palette with yarn, pattern and themed extras.

Qing Fibre collaborated with James N Watts on yarn kits for the Partition Tank Top, a top-down mesh design with a simple four-stitch lace repeat. The Pride release included bold Qing Fibre yarn options and directed kit profits to Queercircle and Gendered Intelligence.

Qing Fibre created Gemini Season colour pairings for Katharina Kuntz's Zodiac Signs Scarf, a reversible double-knit design based on astrological chart motifs. The kit brings together contrasting Qing Fibre shades selected to make the geometric pattern stand out on both sides.

Qing Fibre and Katharina of Le Pull Studio created the Train to Downtown Mystery Box for bold, city-inspired knitting. Katharina developed the moodboard and exclusive pattern while Qing Fibre selected bright Yak and Merino Single shades to be worked together, with themed gifts completing the box.

Qing Fibre collaborated with Loupy Studio on the Gloam Glow Mystery Box, a twilight-inspired project kit built around the Scrunchie Bag pattern. The box combined coordinated Qing Fibre yarns, a mystery colour, stitch markers, an adjustable cord and a jointly branded velvet project bag.

Qing Fibre collaborated with Lydia Morrow on the Curio Collar, a playful accessory with high- and wide-neck options plus single- or double-ruffle finishes. The kit paired Qing Fibre fingering yarn with a lighter contrast fibre to create structured and translucent ruffle effects.

Qing Fibre collaborated with ROWS Knitwear to create four yarn-only kit options for the Scribble Cardigan. The release included Dashing Sassy shades from the Neon Noir collection alongside Wensleyhaze and Bamboo Linen options, with sizing quantities mapped to the designer's pattern.

Qing Fibre is collaborating with Tamara of Starcrossed Knits on the 2026 Advent Box, a limited hand-dyed yarn countdown created for knitters. The project and palette remain under wraps while the campaign introduces Tamara's colourful, functional approach to knitwear design.

Wàzi Socks Kit with Fishhead Creations

Qing Fibre teamed up with Anna Lange of Fishhead Creations to create the Wàzi Socks kit. The colourwork sock pattern was offered in sizes from toddler to adult large, paired with two skeins of Qing Fibre Sock yarn and a printed pattern. The kit contained enough yarn for an adult pair and a child’s pair.

Qing Fibre produced two bold yarn palettes for Stephen West's Go Go Dynamo shawl, combining Dashing Sassy with contrasting Sock Minis. The yarn-only kits grouped Pink Revolution with Rocket and Lockside with Hero to reflect the pattern's geometric, high-energy colourwork.

Westknits Yarn A Long 2026: Knit Your Own Adventure

Qing Fibre was the third featured dyer for Westknits Yarn A Long 2026: Knit Your Own Adventure. Qing Fibre custom dyed warm and cool palettes on its Yak Singles base for Box 3 of the three-month shawl programme, which was retailed by Stephen & Penelope alongside Hedgehog Fibres and West Wool kits.
