Happy New Year! We hope you had a lovely festive period and are feeling refreshed and ready for the New Year ahead. We caught up with a few members of the team and asked what knitting plans they had in store for 2021 and what are their favourite Qing Fibre Spring colourways. There seems to be a common theme of neons with pastels and a few classics shining through, perfect for lifting the spirits and adding splashes of colour to you makes!

Favourite Colours - "Some of my favourites are Lullaby, Penguin and Shibuya, pastels and cheerful tones are definitely a must in January! I am very drawn to pale pinks, purples and blues at the moment, we have been experimenting with some new colours and techniques in the studio, I can't wait to share with you!"
New Year Knits - "I would love to knit a jumper or a cardigan in one of those colours, something soft, comfy and luxury. Mohair, Veranita or Suri? I just can't decide! I have also been playing with some new stitch ideas and texture using Veranita, I have really enjoyed this and I'm hoping to incorporate this into a new pattern very soon!"
Georgia -
Favourite Colours - "I LOVE Soft Lemon, the greys mixed with the neon's and fuchsia pinks are amazing together! Another favourite of mine is Pangolin, I am a sucker for Pinks and Oranges together, it reminds me of beautiful sari material (I used to decorate my bedroom as a teenager with) and of holidays in warm and sunny places."
New Year Knits - "I'm currently working on the Colette Tee by Witre Design in our Melted Baby Suri base, I had some previous club colourways in my stash and found an amazing orange and pink combination lurking. I had been saving it for a special project, and the Colette Tee just fits perfect, I can't wait to pair it with a pair of big denim flares, bring the 70s back! One of my 2021 goals is to cast something on with cables, I have had my eye on the Favo Sweater by Fiber Tales for a while, so I am keen to get this on my needles soon."

Favourite Colours - "One of my all time favourites is Cactus, I am always swooning over this colour in the studio, Sea Breeze is another of my favourite, subtle and soft grey with little flecks of blue, makes me think of those perfect grey pebbles on the beach and blue skies.
New Year Knits - "I have the Doocot by Kate Davies Designs on my needles at the moment, a simple and stunning pattern for a lovely raglan jumper which I am really enjoying knitting! I can't wait to finish, I feel like I won't ever want to take this jumper off! I'd really like to experiment with some new techniques and stitches this year, I'd like to look at patterns with more texture and perhaps some cables too. I'd also like to become a little more daring with my colour choices. I tend to sway towards quite a muted palette, but I'd like to experiment with some brighter and more vibrant colours that I wouldn't usually work with, maybe I'll ease in with Cactus!
