The Pattern
Flowy, lacy, airy, elegant; this gorgeous design uses a three layer lace pattern to create a luxuriously relaxed feel, where softness of our Super Floof DK and intricate beauty of lace stitch melt into a comfortable cloud you can wear.
We are so into this pattern, that we made three different colour combos (with a fourth one on the way!).
The Construction
The cardigan is worked using a decorative elongated stitch, making it a fun and versatile statement piece. It is constructed top down, beginning with the back panel, then the front panels. Once all pieces are joined, the body is finished with a ribbed hem. The sleeves are shaped with short rows and stockinette stitch before working the stitch pattern, then finished with cuffs. As the final step, the cardigan is finished with a ribbed edge around the neck and opening.
The pattern is divided into sections and subsections as a guide to help you find your place easily. It also includes a tutorial video for the lace stitch pattern.
This pattern is for an intermediate level knitter, however we would never discourage adventurous beginners to take the leap. We are always a DM away from helping!
