The Colour
Constellations carried stories from one generation to the next. Cassiopeia, named for the proud queen in Greek myth, brings that same star-woven majesty into yarn, luminous and multi-hued.
The Base
Yak Single is one of our most luxurious fingering weight yarn bases. The natural grey of the yak hair darkens our colourways intensely, while the added silk gives it a beautiful lustrous sheen. Together they form a textile that is a delight both visually and physically. It knits up on 3mm needles.
These 120g and 480m skeins are enough for a medium shawl. Suitable for any pattern and stitch, especially for those more intricate and fun stitches.

The first time ordering from Qing fibers and this Yarn ist just perfect. It's so soft and feels so nice. I can't wait to work with it and see the endproduct. I love it.
I was a bit disappointed with the colourway after seeing amazing pictures of it online. The hank I received had a lot of green and not as much of the paler tones to contrast that I was hoping for. The yak single base is lovely, super soft and squishy so will find a use for it, but it is not suitable for the intended project because of the colour differences to what I had envisaged.
The yarn is superb. Love its strength and sheen, the sophisticated colouring. Look forward to knitting with it.
The courier service, Evri, is awful. They have repeatedly ignored the address listed on my order, and taken my yarn to another address that shares my postal code -- a pub!
