The Valentines Bralette is a made-to-measure design with shaped lace-edged cups and adjustable straps. Picked-up stitches, short rows and mirrored decreases shape the cups, while double knitting creates a casing for the elastic. The straps are worked and attached using the chosen fastening option. The finished piece provides the support of a lace bralette rather than a structured bra.

Fit & measurements

Made to your own measurements using the calculations supplied with the pattern.

Two adjustable strap options: lace straps, or straps incorporating elastic in a knitted casing.

The design offers a relaxed lace-bralette fit and may not provide the support of an underwired bra.

Yarn requirements

Yarn requirements are calculated from your measurements using the spreadsheet supplied with the pattern. The suggested construction uses lace-weight yarn held double.

Sample only, bra size 32DD: one skein of Veranita in each of two colours, held double; alternatively, two skeins of Soufflé Pure, held double.
