We've teamed up with Parisian artisanal dye studio La Bien Aimee to assemble very special kits for our frilly Lolita skirt pattern! If you don't already know them, you can view their Instagram profile here.

The Lolita Skirt introduces a harmonious blend of traditional knitting techniques and contemporary fashion trends, making it a truly unique addition to any wardrobe, especially in these vivacious colour combinations. The slit and cascading lace frills bring a playful feeling to the Lolita piece. We can't wait to see your FOs!

The Kit and Sizing

This kit is for sizes 1-3 which means you are purchasing:

• 3 skeins of Ciel d'Orage in La Bien Aimee's Twist Nouveaux base.
• 1 skein of Veranita in Tea.
• Add the Lolita skirt pattern to your shopping cart alongside your kit to get it FREE. Offer ends 4th September.

Sizes 1-3 = 3 skeins of La Bien Aimee Ciel d'Orage and 1 skein of Qing Fibre Veranita.  

Sizes 4 & 5 = 4 skeins of La Bien Aimee Ciel d'Orage and 1 skein of Qing Fibre Veranita. 

Sizes 6 & 7 = 5 skeins of La Bien Aimee Ciel d'Orage and 1 skein of Qing Fibre Veranita.

Veranita

Veranita is our super luxe lace-weight cashmere base. We wanted something unique and rare that would create the most beautiful garments - one we could claim is one of the softest yarns in the woolly world.

• Fibre: 79% fluffy Cashmere, 21% silk
• Weight: 25g
• Length: 300m/325yds
• Recommended size needle: 2.5mm for a tighter gauge or going up to 4mm for a drape effect.
• Care: Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry

Twist Nouveaux by La Bien Aimee

• Fibre: 100% non super-wash Merino
• Weight: 100g, fingering.
• Length: 400 metres or 437 yards
• Recommended size needle: 2.5 - 4mm
• Care: Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry

Ciel d'Orage by La Bien Aimee

Hand-dyed in Paris, each La Bien Aimee skein is truly unique. The splashes of pink, grey and black speckles make way for playful stitch definition. The result is a visually striking yarn that seamlessly blends these two shades to produce a captivating and versatile colour palette.
