Today we have a special gift for you!

If you have always wanted to get more into knitting and learn some new skills then this pattern is for you: a simple 2x2 rib hand warmer design with increases for the thumb.

You will learn to cast on, knit in the round, knit in 1x1 and 2x2 ribbing, decrease, increase both knit wise and purl wise, and of course, cast off!

It allows you to dive into the world of Qing Fibre yarns with a simple, quick project which will be super warm and wearable!

Yarn and Needles

Here we have used Merino Single in Moonage and Veranita in Rose Tinted, creating a soft variegated effect. Find the bundle here!

If you are keen to mix up your own colour palette - this pattern works with any of our Fingering weight and Veranita yarns: you only need 1 skein of each!

This pattern requires 4mm circular needles (60cm so you can do magic/travelling loop) or 4x 4mm double pointed needles.

Blocking

Next you need to block your gloves! This step is very important as the gauge was based off your blocked swatch. It also really helps the yarn soften and for the stitches to become even.

We really hope you have enjoyed this pattern and you will love wearing your hand warmers. ❤️

There are a lot more patterns and yarn available on our website if you would like to challenge yourself further!

Bundles which include the yarns we used are available to purchase here. 🌟
