The Pattern

You asked, we made it ! We are so happy to release our yarn kits and pattern for our new Zodiac Check Mate Top.

Get the Zodiac Checkmate Top pattern (intarsia Version) free when you purchase any bundle until Sunday 25th February 7pm GMT.

Just add both your bundle and pattern to your basket and it will automatically be deducted from your total amount.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy this and know how colourwork can seem intimidating so we have especially designed a beginner friendly pattern and a pattern using the instarsia method.

The Kit 

These kits have been thoughtfully put together by our design team at the QF studio to make the most striking colour combinations.

 For size XS (Size 1): You will receive x2 Veranita in 'Phtalo' and x3 Wensleyhaze in 'Ninja Turtle'.

For Size S - 3XL (Size 2 - 7): You will receive x2 Veranita in 'Phtalo' and x4 Wensleyhaze in 'Ninja Turtle'.

For Size 4XL - 5XL (Size 8-9): You will receive x2 Veranita in 'Phtalo' and x5 Wensleyhaze in 'Ninja Turtle'.

The Bases

Veranita

We wanted something unique and rare that would create the most beautiful garments, something that we could claim is one of the softest yarns in the woolly world. Veranita is wonderful alternative to those who can not wear Mohair or Suri Alpaca bases. 

Made up of  9% supreme fluffy Cashmere and 21% silk, each skein is 25g with 300m of fuzzy heaven. 

Wensleyhaze

Wensleydale is a rare species of longhair British sheep and its wool is only sourced in small batches from local farmers. 

It has more lustre than normal wool and pairs brilliantly with Kid Mohair Silk for the extra softness, which is exactly what we’ve done to create our magnificent Wensleyhaze base. Great stitch definition for more rustic knitting projects.

Made up of 80% Wensleydale and 20% Super Kid Mohair, each skein 50g and 200m long!
