The Pattern

Welcome the new member of the 'Simply Wave' family, the Simply Wave Long Sock! Using a combination of our super soft Veranita base for the detailing and our durable Merino Sock Minis for the main structure, by the end of the knit you will have the perfect pair of stylish socks to keep you warm during the fresh spring breezes. 

Get the Simply Wave Long Sock Pattern free when you purchase any kit until Monday 25th March 7pm GMT. Just add both your kit and pattern to your basket and the pattern will automatically be deducted from your total amount.

The Kit 

For size Size 1: You will receive x1 Veranita in 'Cumulus' and x4 Merino Sock Mini in 'Hero'

For size 2-3: You will receive x1 Veranita in 'Cumulus' and x5 Merino Sock Mini in 'Hero'

For size 4: Your will recieve x1 Veranita in 'Cumulus' and x6 Merino Sock Mini in 'Hero'

You will find you only need to use around 1/4 of the Veranita skein for this kit meaning you will have enough to make another pair of socks/small project if you wish!

Sizing

Choose your size by measuring the foot & calf following the below:

To Fit Foot Circumference
(Measurement taken from around the middle of your foot.)
17-19 (20-22) 23-24 (25-26) 27-29 cm / 6.5 -7.5 (8 - 8.5) 9-9.5
(10) 10.5-11.5 inch.

To fit calf circumference
25-30 (31-36) 37-42 (43-47) 48-54 CM.
10 - 12 (12 - 14) 14.5 - 16.5 (17 - 18.5) 19 - 21 INCH.

The Bases

Veranita

We wanted something unique and rare that would create the most beautiful garments, something that we could claim is one of the softest yarns in the woolly world. Veranita is wonderful alternative to those who can not wear Mohair or Suri Alpaca bases. 

Made up of  9% supreme fluffy Cashmere and 21% silk, each skein is 25g with 300m of fuzzy heaven. 

Merino Sock Mini

Super soft merino with nylon perfect for hard wearing socks (or anything else!)

Made from 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon, each mini skein is 20g and 80m long!
