Our advent kits are a 12 day countdown to Christmas, designed to be opened from 14th December. ⁠Each day you will open 1-2 gifts of either a skein of luxury fibre, hand dyed by us, a themed gift or knitting accessory or both! At the end of the 14 day countdown you will have all you need to knit up your Yamagara pattern 🧡

Simply add your advent to your cart, checkout and your free shipping offer will be applied automatically. This is valid for both international and UK orders.

• Your order will be sent out to you to arrive in mid-November, you will receive a tracking link to track your order from door to door (both UK and international orders). International Orders are aimed to be dispatched at the beginning of October so that there is plenty of time for your advent to reach you.
  
  
• You will receive your digital advent pattern at the beginning of December. Instructions on how to redeem will be included in your box and via email. 

Please make a separate order if making any additional non pre-order purchases. If purchased with an Advent Box we will not be able to send them until the shipment of your box is ready.

What's the theme?

Bernice Lim, the designer behind Yamagara describes how important fairy lights ✨️ are in setting the scene for her families Christmas;⁠

'For me, Christmas is not Christmas without fairy lights. One year my family put up fairy lights in our living room for Christmas and decided to leave them up after Christmas. We love the magic so much that we haven’t taken them down. Now we have the fairy lights on a timer. It lights up every evening to set the mood for winding down. When we return home after dark, we open our front door to see the fairy lights making the house look peaceful and welcoming.'⁠

With soft and delicately beautiful pastel tones, the warmth of twinkling fairy lights is also reflected in the way these skeins are dyed.

What's the pattern?

The details have to be kept top secret but I can let you know it's a pattern that features a beautiful fade of soft colours. It's an extremely wearable accessory suitable for any occasion!
