Who said that Easter egg hunts are only for kids? We decided to have a little fun running up to Easter and organised a yarn inspired Easter egg hunt!
We will be sending out some little Easter eggs in some of our orders that are placed between Sunday and Thursday this week (5th April – 9th April*). Our cute little knitted eggs will be lurking in parcels being sent all over the world! Have you got one in your parcel?
Following the premise of a traditional Easter egg hunt, if you find a hidden egg in your package, you will win a special skein of Qing Fibre Yarn! What’s not to love?
We are so egg-cited to see our little eggs out in the wild! If you are one of the lucky customers who find an egg, please email us a photo of your egg and your yarn order to claim your prize – contact@qingfibre.com!
Want to create your own knitted Easter Egg hunt? We used these two lovely patterns but added in a different stitches to make them truly unique.
The knitted egg pattern is a FREE pattern by Anna Funnell called Patterned Easter Egg Decorations
the crochet eggs were created using the Spring Chicken Easter Eggs pattern by Katy Stevens. This is a great project for using up scraps and experimenting with colour.
If you need some spring yarn for your eggs check out some of our colours that we think are perfect!
The Amethyst and Citrine tones shine brightly from this gemstone. Orchid purples, charming pinks and powder yellows flecked with a colourful spectrum of light.
As the name suggests, our daffodils colourway is the epitome of spring. A warm and subtle base shade, flecked with vibrant yellows and earthy tones, we think this is ideal for this time of year.
Our introduction to springtime, where the trees and flowers are waking from their slumber. A light and vibrant spring green with soft variegating hues of rose pink and lilac.
* Competition starts at 12.00am BST Sunday 5th April until 11.59pm BST Thursday 9th April. Does not apply to downloadable products. Winning parcels are selected at random. Good luck!
