All About Veranita

All About Veranita

Our Veranita yarn is the softest blend of cashmere and silk! The luxe laceweight yarn is perfect for a wide range of projects such as floaty tops and the softest shawls.

What is Veranita made from?

Cashmere is made from the hair of the cashmere goat, the long overcoat hairs are separated from the soft undercoat, and the result is a beautiful fibre that is gentle and soft, perfect for those who are sensitive to kid mohair silk.

Silk is one of the oldest fibres in the world, dating back to ancient China. The fibre comes from the silk moth and is sleek and strong. The combination of the two fibres make Veranita a luxurious choice to add to your project.

What can you make with Veranita?

Veranita can be used by itself for an incredibly soft, floaty garment, or it can be combined with any of our other yarn bases to add a touch of softness or a pop of colour.
