Our seasonal kits celebrate the ancient Chinese Moon festival when the moon is at its most radiant during the autumn months. It’s a special time of the year in East Asian tradition and one many would recognise from the scattering of lanterns along streets and the sharing of sweet mooncake treats.

The Moon Special fade kit consists of natural, earthy tones, for a charmingly rich wash of colours. This unique blend ensures a subtle and beautiful array of shades, bringing warmth to any project.

The shades move from a delicate shell-pink laced with blue flecks, through soft shades of pink and moss hues, finally transitioning into a magnificent sage green decorated with striking azure and indigo speckles.

The Base

Kid Mohair Silk is a very fluffy and delicate lace-weight yarn. Younger animals have finer hair, and so our Mohair is extra gentle to the touch. As with all our yarn, we only source mohair from ethical and sustainable. Hold it together with any partner yarn to add a dreamy halo finish to your creations, or knit it alone to create an amazing floating airy texture.
