This year's advent calendars have been curated in collaboration with the incredibly talented designers Lydia Morrow and Florence Spurling. These fantastic knitters are bringing you a one-of-a-kind advent experience. Check them out on Instagram if you don't already know them!

Included in each calendar is a special pattern knitted by your favourite designer, Mini skeins of our Merino Fingering base and exciting accessories for your project.

Lydia Morrow's 2023 Advent

Lydia Morrow has brought us a truly captivating yarn collection that plays with retro space-age imagery. Drawing inspiration from the graphics of vintage fireworks boxes, charm bracelets, mid-century modernism and geometric patterns, her Advent plays with ideas of the past, future and Christmas present. Get ready for a bold, retro 1960s-themed holiday season.

Expect bright colours, funky knitting accessories, and a mystery pattern created by Lydia.

Florence Spurling's 2023 Advent 

Florence Spurling's 2023 Qing Fibre Christmas Advent is inspired by Welsh tapestry designs and romantic woven manuscripts. Wales has a rich history in weaving and textile, traditionally taking place in cottages, outhouses and cosy sitting rooms. 

Her colourways fuse soft and oaky tones. Florence asks us to imagine mustard yellows, tangerine oranges, greens and indigo blues. 

Florence's Advent will include an assortment of goodies including a secret new pattern, colourways, and knitting accessories.

What's in the 2023 Qing Fibre Advent? 

Once you've decided and processed your pre-order order at checkout, it will be processed by our team, and sent out to you in November. 

Each day, you'll get to open either a gift or a magic skein. Your secret pattern written by Lydia and/or Florence will be sent by email. If you enrolled in our Andrea Mowry Advent in 2022, you will be familiar with the process!

• Your orders will be sent out to you in November, in preparation for the Christmas countdown in December.
• Please make a separate order if making any additional non pre-order purchases. If purchased with the advent, we will not be able to send them until the shipment of your Advent.
